Zywicki, who scored three goals in the season-opening win over Colorado but has missed every game since, is “ahead of schedule” and could potentially come off the injured reserve on Feb. 23 with the team looking at a March 5 return date as more possible.
Fellow forward Joel Dalgarno, who suffered a lower body injury during training camp and started the season on the injured reserve is almost fully fit and scheduled to come off the list on Feb. 18, Locker said.
Forward Peter Morgan, who has missed the last couple games recovering from an upper-body injury, should be cleared to go against Colorado this Saturday. Morgan’s potential addition will provide the Stealth offense with another weapon in the quest to find a consistent scoring touch. The offense has been beleaguered so far this season (with the exception of a 19-goal outburst in Calgary) while trying to find consistency.
Defenseman Kyle Sorensen is still rehabbing his surgically repaired knee ligaments and Locker had no updated timetable for his return. Understandably with knee injuries, the Stealth will take it slowly.
