Calls for Artists

Call for Artists: Edmonds Community College is seeking submissions for a permanent, exterior work of art for the southeast entrance to the newly renovated Meadowdale Hall, housing the Visual Arts, Engineering, Energy Management and Construction Management Programs. The call is open to all media and disciplines, but preference will be given to works responding to the college mission, campus environment, the building’s programs, and/or student involvement. Call for Presenters: Presenter proposals are being accepted for the 26th annual Write on the Sound Writers’ Conference presented by the Edmonds Arts Commission. The conference will be held Oct. 1-2, 2011 in Edmonds. The conference offers a variety of workshops with authors, instructors and trade professionals that are a mix of how-to/hands-on, genre based and motivation. Interested individuals are invited to send a professional resume that includes information about teaching or presentation experience, works published, if appropriate, and a description of one or more 75- or 90-minute classes for consideration.
