Wine tasting at Molbak’s
The Greater Woodinville Chamber of Commerce, Molbak’s and Woodinville Warehouse Wineries are hosting a wine tasting event benefiting the new Celebrate Woodinville Concerts in the Park series.
The wine tasting is 2-4 p.m. July 14 at Molbak’s, 13625 NE 175th St., Woodinville. Enjoy five wine pours for a $10 tasting fee. Participating wineries include Alta Cellars, Gard Vintners and Piccola Wine Company. No registration necessary; wine glasses provided. Tickets for Woodinville’s July 19 Wine Walk also will be on sale.
The Celebrate Woodinville Concerts in the Park are this summer, 7-8 p.m. July 18-Aug. 8 at Wilmot Gateway Park, 17301 131st Ave. NE, Woodinville.
Salty’s walk-up seafood bar open
Salty’s restaurant at Redondo Beach offers a walk-up seafood bar to satisfy the whole family.
Salty’s seafood bar features everything from the restaurant’s award-winning seafood chowder and flaky fish and chips to refreshing blackened salmon Caesar salads and Dungeness crab cocktails. And for the kiddos, there are peel-and-eat shrimp and a kid’s-size version of fish and chips, crispy corn dogs and juicy chicken strips.

Denny’s challenge for milk carton derby
Fish and frogs will be replaced by pancakes and eggs on July 14 as Denny’s takes over Green Lake in Seafair’s annual Milk Carton Derby.
This year, the American diner is issuing a special challenge to see who can create the most original Denny’s-themed boat in the race. The entries will be based on creativity.
The grand prize winner will receive free “Original Grand Slam” breakfasts for a year for each team member.
Second place will be awarded a $50 Denny’s gift card and third place will receive a free “Grand Slam.” To qualify, participants much include a Denny’s logo on their creation.
