The city managers of Mountlake Terrace are to be commended. In these days of economic cutbacks, we are doing well. Granted, some of the improvements are incremental, and much of the proposed growth had to be put on hold; however, other areas are progressing.
I live near 230th where the streets are being lowered and sidewalks and curb cuts are being added, improving our city greatly.
To hear what’s happening in Seattle — the parks, library and police — makes one truly grateful that our city managers had the discipline and foresight to prevent such a crises in our lovely city. Thank you.
