EDMONDS

July 25: Theft. 23600 block of Highway 99. Suspects came into a store twice to shoplift numerous bottles of liquor.

July 21: Traffic incident. 21200 block of Highway 99. A suspect was stopped by police for jaywalking and lied about his name. When he revealed his real name, it turned out that he was wanted on a warrant out of Shoreline. Police cited the suspect for jaywalking and turned him over to Shoreline officers.

July 22: Theft. 1000 block of Ninth Avenue S. A laptop was stolen from a home during a party.

LYNNWOOD

July 24: Theft. 6500 block of 208th St. SW. Report of a vehicle prowl where stolen items included stuffed animals, school supplies and an umbrella.

July 25: Theft. 19000 block of 68th Ave. W. Parts from a riding lawn mower were reported stolen.

July 24: Malicious mischief. 5300 block of 173rd Place SW. A 2004 Nissan was damaged by broken eggs and scratched with a key or something similar.

July 24: Reckless burn. 6100 block of 200th St. SW. A man was arrested for roasting hotdogs in the middle of overgrown bushes and trees.

MOUNTLAKE TERRACE

July 26: Warrant. 6000 block of 237 St. SW. Police arrested a man on a warrant for assault, issued by the Des Moines Police Department, after he was found sleeping in a car parked outside of Evergreen Elementary with a female.

July 25: Property damage. A house owner believes that a tenant destroyed speakers with a sticky substance and ran up the electricity bill after she received notice of eviction.

July 24: Property damage. 4700 block of 225 Place SW. At 6:30 a.m., a woman found that her front left tire was flat. She took into the tire dealer, who found that there were three punctures on the outside sidewall. She purchased the tires the night before.

FIRE DISTRICT 1

July 26: Truck fire. 200 block of 128th St. SW. Firefighters extinguished a truck fire at a hotel at 3 a.m.

July 24: Bark fire. Serene Lake Elementary School. At 6:56 p.m., someone reported a bark fire in the playground. Firefighters found evidence that someone may have been trying to set playground equipment on fire.

July 23: Collision. 135th Place SE and 49th Ave. SE. At 12:57 am. firefighters responded to a two-car collision. One car went off the roadway and was “heavily damaged.” Firefighters transported the driver to Swedish/Mill Creek Emergency Room. The second vehicle fled the scene.
