July 18: Assault. 21600 block of 76th Ave. W. A woman reported she was assaulted after an argument over cab fare. She said the suspect drove away with her debit cards and cellphone.

July 18: Brier police were assisted in their search of armed home burglary suspects, who ran from their car after a police chase brought them to Kenmore.

July 15: Trespassing. 900 block of Cedar St. An extremely intoxicated man walked into an unlocked home. He was detained, but people living at the house decided not to press charges after realizing the man was so drunk that he walked into the wrong home.


July 19: Vehicle recovery. 19900 block of Highway 99. Police located a 1994 Honda Civic that had been reported stolen in Everett.

July 15: Domestic. 18100 block of 41st Place W. An argument was reported between a man and a woman because she refused to help him mow the lawn.

July 18: Domestic. 6300 block of 181st Place SW. A man and a woman argued because he didn’t want her to go to sleep.

July 12: Accident. 19100 block of 36th Avenue W. A 2012 Hyundai was damaged in a hit-and-run incident.


July 20: Recovered object. A man exited his home and found a sculpture in his driveway, described in police report as “a giant brain mounted into a cement base by a 3 foot length of rebar.” Police took sculpture into evidence for safekeeping.

July 19: Theft. 22400 block of 44th Ave. W. A woman witnessed a teenager grab her lawn gnome and start leaving with it. The woman’s kids chased after the suspect but could not catch him. The woman stated she did not want to press charges but wanted an apology.


July 10: Collision. 21700 block of 66th Ave. W. A motorcycle and a truck collided. Firefighters took the injured motorcyclist to Swedish/Edmonds Hospital.

July 9: Collision. Fifth Ave. S and Edmonds Way. A two-car collision occurred at 7:57 p.m. Firefighters transported one patient to Swedish/Edmonds Hospital.

July 8: Dumpster fire. 12600 block of Eighth Ave. W. Firefighters extinguished a Dumpster fire at 8:22 p.m.
