Unknown intruder turns out to be husband

Here are selected reports from Shoreline and Lake Forest Park police:

March 12

Disturbance. 1000 block NE 182nd St. Two people started arguing over a marijuana deal and went after each other with baseball bats.

Larceny. 2200 block NE 169th St. A GPS unit, power cord and case were stolen from a vehicle.

Robbery. 17500 block Aurora Ave. N. A suspect passed a hold-up note and a bag to a bank teller demanding money. The suspect claimed to be armed but no weapon was seen.

Larceny. 18300 block Aurora Ave. N. A suspect shoplifted $1,157.92 worth of merchandise from a store.

Vandalism. 600 block Richmond Beach. A possible BB gun was shot at a window of a bar and grill overnight causing damages.

Vandalism. 18300 block Aurora Ave. N. A suspect was caught by store security in the act of spray painting graffiti on a pillar within the store.

Burglary. 14500 block Eighth Ave. NE. A pistol, a safe, savings bonds and jewelry were stolen from a residence.

Suspicious circumstances. 16700 block 37th Ave. NE. Neighbors called police after noticing a male subject walking around an abandoned house. Police found signs of recent use in the house but did not locate anyone around the home.

Burglary. 15800 block 34th Ave. NE. A woman called police when she saw an unknown person walking around in her home. Police responded and discovered the male was the woman’s husband who had come home early.

Suspicious circumstances. 14800 block Bothell Way NE. A male was seen trying to break into a vehicle with a coat hanger.

March 11

Disturbance. 19200 block 18th Ave. NE. A drunken subject yelled at his girlfriend accusing her of cheating on him.

Burglary. 20000 block Ballinger Way. Sometime overnight an abandoned office building was entered and a large quantity of wire and other metal was ripped from the walls of the empty offices.

Suspicious circumstances. 700 block N 160th St. Police checked an area for a female who was heard calling for help.

Malicious mischief. 3500 block NE 187th St. Someone reported torn up shrubs in their yard.

Suspicious circumstances. 19600 block 47th Ave. NE. Police told a couple hanging out in a closed city park to leave.

March 10

Identity theft. 1300 block N 200th St. A woman told police a credit card was opened in her name without her knowledge.

Burglary. 1300 block N 167th St. A TV was stolen in a residential burglary.

Controlled substance. NE 145th St. and 31st Ave. NE. Police contacted a subject who had a warrant, violated a no contact order and was in possession of methamphetamine.

March 9

Fraud. 16300 block 28th Pl. NE. A victim stated someone fraudulently used her account to make an electronic withdrawal.

Burglary. 17700 block 25th Ave. NE. Unknown suspects kicked open doors to a residence, unplugged the flat screen TV and caused an alarm to go off. Suspects took a laptop from the living room.

Burglary. 19800 block Bagley Ln. A suspect allowed to stay at a victim’s house took listed items totaling about $1,723 from the house.

Suspicious circumstances. 19800 block 30th Ave. NE. Someone reported a missing hatchet.

Fraud. 14500 block Bothell Way NE. A suspect used two counterfeit $20 bills.

Theft. 16500 block 37th Ave. NE. A backpack containing a wallet and personal identification was stolen from a vehicle.

March 8

Larceny. 17700 block 15th Ave. NE. A subject was cited after he failed to pay his cab fare from Seattle valued at $46.25.

March 7

DUI. A 19-year-old was arrested for driving under the influence.

Vandalism. 1200 block NW 203rd St. A resident came home from a trip and found their front lawn had been damaged by some kind of vegetation killer.

Larceny. 17900 block Meridian Ave. N. A victim told police she may have dropped her car keys in a parking lot and that’s how her vehicle was entered and several items were stolen.

Suspicious circumstances. 17100 block Bothell Way NE. A transient male was seen trying to steal someone’s bike.

March 6

Larceny. 18800 block Eighth Ave NW. A sandwich board was put out in front of a business in the morning and was stolen before employees could retrieve it in the afternoon.

Burglary. 14500 block 5th Ave. NE. A front door was kicked in and a label from a new pair of gloves was found on the front porch of a residence.

Larceny. 18300 block Aurora Ave. N. A male stole $34.99 in trading cards by concealing them in his sweatshirt.

Drunkenness. N. 182nd St. and Fremont Ave. A male was sent to a hospital for detoxification after being found drunk in a public roadway.

Graffiti. 18700 block 47th Ave. NE. Someone spray painted a motor home.
