Candidate grateful for friends, family

Now that the election is over I would like to take some time to thank publicly all the people who supported me during my campaign for Arlington City Council. It was a challenge and I am grateful for the opportunity, even though the outcome was not as I had planned. I enjoyed meeting and talking with so many of my neighbors.

Without the support and help from my many friends and family this would have been an overwhelming task. I would especially like to thank Marilyn Giebel and Tom Ortly, Marty and Steve Hammer, Dave and Verna Molstad and George Boulton. A special thank you also to the Gleneagle Ladies Club for their sign support.

A thank you also to Ryan Larsen, because without an opponent you cannot fully appreciate democracy.
