Dubya desperate to maintain power

The clouds of war are gathering and the storm just may hit before the next election. Think there might be an attempt to influence the outcome somewhere in this? Clearly, our president listens only to the special interests that elected him to office (or whatever you want to call that last circus-like process). I believe that Dubious Dubya is way out of control and is desperate to do whatever it takes to try to maintain power. The world certainly would benefit from a regime change, but it is needed in Washington D.C. every bit as much as it is needed in Baghdad.

This is serious, sickening business. Lots of people are going to needlessly die. For what? So we can drive our lovely SUVs down the road knowing that we won’t have to pay more that $1.50 a gallon for gas? We need to look at our own cultural priorities.

And please, let’s not buy into the smarmy “God is on our side” line. One of the favorite slogans of Hitler’s Nazis was “Gott mit uns” (God’s with us) to help justify their atrocities all over Europe and Russia. Don’t kid yourself. We get into this one and we will be taking on some very unpleasant surprises. And like it or not, this will be an open declaration against the entire Islamic world. And what will the “Final Solution” be this time folks?
