Whose dictionary is right, anyway?

I have a question. In a letter dated March 8, a writer tells us President Bush should be impeached for not knowing their dictionary’s definition of marriage as “any close union.”
My 7-pound Webster dictionary defines marriage as “the social institution under which a man and woman establish their decision to live as husband and wife by legal commitments, religious ceremonies, etc.”
My question: Should I burn my dictionary?
