Morris wins three events to lead Jackson girls

EDMONDS – Jenny Morris won three events to lead Jackson to a 120-29 Western Conference South Division victory over Meadowdale on Thursday at Edmonds Stadium.

Jackson won 16 of 18 events, led by Morris, who sprinted to victories in the 100 meters (13.98 seconds), 200 (28.66) and 300 hurdles (1:03.66).

Allison Body and Allison Graham each contributed two victories for the Timberwolves. Body won 100 hurdles and the 800. Graham swept the distance races with a times of 5:49.30 in the 1,600 and 12:26.84 in the 3,200. Shirley Shimer (discus) and Castonguay (long jump) won events for Meadowdale.
