Man found slain in Edmonds house

EDMONDS – Snohomish County sheriff’s detectives are investigating the death of a man whose body was found in a vacant home this afternoon in the 7100 block of Picnic Point Avenue.

The home is owned by a Texas-based mortgage company. The large house overlooking the Puget Sound is for sale with an asking price of $1.2 million. It has been vacant for some time.

The man, described as Asian between 20- and 25-years-old, died of homicidal violence, according to the sheriff’s office.
