Historic Everett offers tours too

Historic Everett offers a series of guided walks focusing on the history and architecture of local buildings. Upcoming tours include:

* Snohomish City Tour lead by local historian David Dilgard, 10 a.m. July 15, $12, $8 members. Meet at the new visitor center on First Street at the bridge.

* Downtown Everett Tour, 1 p.m. Aug. 19, $10, $6 members. Meet at the new County Plaza, above the parking garage on Wall and Oakes streets.

* Historic Everett Home Tour, self-guided, 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sept. 16, $14, $10 members. Pick up guidebooks at Van Valey House, 2130 Colby Ave.
