50 years ago (1957)

About 160 members of “Our Golden Hours” Club gathered to celebrate the first anniversary of the club’s founding. Honored as the oldest members were William Anderson and Russell Grant. Club officers were Josephine Johnson, Minnie O’Dell, Agnes Carboneau, Gertrude Featherkile, Clyde Weeks and Jess Hayes.

25 years ago (1982)

Four Everett police officers were promoted. They were Allen Shelstad, Charles Betts, Charles Imes and James Brauch.
