Dunshee should be held accountable

Published 9:00 pm Saturday, February 17, 2007

Hans Dunshee is not just a man with a job. He is an elected official that, and I quote from the State Ethics Board, “state officials and public employees hold a public trust that obligates them to honesty and integrity in fulfilling the responsibilities to which they are elected or appointed. Paramount in that trust is the principle that public office, whether elected or appointed, may not be used for personal gain or private advantage.”

This state has zero tolerance for ethics violations. Mr. Dunshee has violated the trust of the public who put him into office and should be held accountable.
