Snohomish County Fire District 7 responded to 79 calls the week of November 19-25, 2007.
November 19
Fire District 7 crews responded to 13 calls including 10 medical aid, two automatic fire alarms and one mutual aid.
November 20
Fire District 7 crews responded to 13 calls including eight medical aid, two motor vehicle collisions, one automatic fire alarm, one downed power line and one mutual aid.
At 6:13 p.m. firefighters responded to a motor vehicle collision involving one car into a ditch in the 8800 block of Maltby Road. Firefighters treated and transported one patient to Evergreen Hospital.
November 21
Fire District 7 crews responded to 13 calls including seven medical aid, two motor vehicle collisions, two automatic fire alarms, one fire and one service call.
November 22
Fire District 7 crews responded to 12 calls including nine medical aid, two fires and one mutual aid.
Firefighters were dispatched to a chimney fire in the 19900 block of 80th Ave. SE. at 11:15 a.m. Crews removed a blockage in the chimney and ensured the fire in a wood stove was extinguished. Firefighters reminded the homeowner to have the chimney professionally inspected and cleaned at least once a year.
November 23
Fire District 7 crews responded to nine calls including five medical aid, two motor vehicle collisions, one fire and one service call.
At 6:42 p.m. firefighters responded to the 18900 block of State Route 527 for a dumpster fire and extinguished a small fire contained inside.
November 24
Fire District 7 crews responded to nine calls including eight medical aid and one mutual aid.
November 25
Fire District 7 crews responded to 10 calls including nine medical aid and one motor vehicle collision.
Firefighters were dispatched to a motor vehicle collision involving a pedestrian in the 18300 block of 51st Ave. SE. at 12:39 p.m. Firefighters treated and transported one patient to Providence Everett Medical Center’s Colby Campus.
