Jay Inslee deserves return ticket to DC

Voters should keep current U.S. Representative Jay Inslee in Congress for another term.

His passion for topics including boosting area jobs and improving the nation’s energy systems is well directed, and he has dedicated a remarkable amount of energy to national and local issues.

Inslee’s record shows no reason why the seat should be given to someone else.

Kagi has earned right to support

Incumbent State Rep. Ruth Kagi, D-Lake Forest Park, is a hard act to follow, which is why she is the candidate to vote for in the 32nd District House Pos. 1 race .

Kagi is a strong candidate devoted to public policy, with six years of leadership experience in Olympia. She is passionate about children and family issues, which is seen by her chairing the Children and Family Services Committee in the House.

She is working to address foster care and educational opportunities for youth, and supports legislation that will address higher education funding issues. A successful past and winning demeanor make Kagi the best choice.

Kagi’s seatmate, Rep. Maralyn Chase, D-Edmonds, is also on the ballot, but unopposed.
