Everett

Jetty Island Days — 10 a.m.-5:30 p.m. Wednesdays-Saturdays, 11 a.m.-5:30 p.m. Sundays, through Sept. 4: The annual event features environmental discoveries, special group tours, campfire programs, nature walks, children’s crafts, interpretive hut and puppet show. Shuttle to and from the island departs approximately every half-hour from Everett’s 10th St. boat launch. Info: 425-257-8300.

Mountlake Terrace

Tour de Terrace — 4-11 p.m. Friday, July 29, 9 a.m.-11 p.m. Saturday, July 30, 9 a.m.-6 p.m. Sunday, July 31: The 12th annual festival sponsored by Terrace Brier Lions Club begins with a parade Friday evening; Saturday includes a 5K run, pancake breakfast, street fair, live music, a carnival, putt-putt golf, arts and crafts, a car show and a fireworks display at 10 p.m. At Evergreen Playfields, 56th Avenue W. and 224th Street SW., Mountlake Terrace. Lake City Summer Festival &Parade — 10 a.m.-10 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 6: A family-oriented festival with children’s activities in the park at NE 125th Street between Lake City Way NE and NE 27th Street, arts and crafts street fair, entertainment stage, salmon dinner and rummage sale, antique car and motorcycle show, children’s parade and grand parade from NE 135th Street to NE 123rd Street. Brier

Brier SeaScare &Porchlight Parade — 6 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 10: A casual community event featuring a kid-focused parade with a “sea” theme, plus food drive, book sale, Brier business trade show, “Outdoor Cinema,” and food and beverages, in downtown Brier, between Brier Library (238th) and Brier Realty (238th). A Taste of Edmonds — 11 a.m.-10 p.m. Friday &Saturday, Aug. 12 &13, 11 a.m.-7 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 14: Washington’s second largest three-day festival offers the opportunity to sample more than 35 local restaurants and food vendors, arts &crafts booths, children’s area, four entertainment stages, roaming performers and separate beer and gardens, at Civic Playfield, Sixth &Bell, Edmonds. Shoreline

Celebrate Shoreline — Noon-8 p.m. Friday, Aug. 19, 9 a.m.-5 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 20, 11 a.m.-2 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 21: Shoreline’s 10th birthday celebration features a Friday teen event at Paramount School Park and Connie King Skate Park, featuring a skateboard competition, band show, food and giveaways. Saturday’s events begin with the 5K walk/run and 10k run at 9 a.m., followed by the parade at 11 a.m. along 15th between 180th to 165th streets, ending at the Ridgecrest Elementary complex with food booths, arts &crafts, community groups and car show.
