Mini-review of ‘Four Christmases’: 1 1/2 stars

Labored: Vince Vaughn and Reese Witherspoon are forced to visit their parents’ four homes on an epic Christmas Day, a labored and implausible premise occasionally made bearable by Vaughn’s freewheeling comic instincts. The parents (all played by Oscar-winners) are weirdly overqualified: Robert Duvall, Sissy Spacek, Mary Steenburgen, Jon Voight.
