Cowlitz deputies say man drove on I-5 in reverse

LONGVIEW — The Cowlitz County sheriff’s office says a driver went at least three miles on I-5 near Castle Rock in reverse.
Deputy Ryan Cruser says the 41-year-old Canadian was arrested about 8:30 p.m. Thursday after his car stopped in the middle of the northbound lanes. He laughed as deputies approached and refused to get out of the rented car.
The Daily News of Longview reports deputies broke a window and used a Taser to subdue him. He was held for a mental evaluation.
