3 KEYS TO THE GAME

Accept coaching

No opponent will know USC like the Huskies do, so UW’s players would be wise to listen to their coaches. In head coach Steve Sarkisian and defensive coordinator Nick Holt, the Huskies have two minds that know USC football well.

Forget the past

This has been a Sarkisian mantra since he arrived at UW, but today it’s even more important. Last season’s 56-0 loss to USC should be forgotten if the Huskies are going to be in any kind of mental state to stay with the Trojans.

Rattle Corp

UW’s defensive line has been inconsistent in its pass rush, but that will have to change today. With USC sophomore QB Aaron Corp making his first start on an experienced offense, the Huskies’ best bet for success is to pick on the new guy.
