The Boeing Co. booked an order for two 777 jets from an unidentified customer over the past week.
The aerospace company updates its orders and deliveries Web site on Thursdays. The new order brings Boeing’s net total to 96 orders for the year.
Boeing’s rival, Airbus, updates its totals monthly. At the end of March, the European jet maker had 60 net orders. Airbus said Wednesday that it had delivered Hawaiian Airlines’ first A330. Hawaiian is replacing its Boeing 767s with A330s and A350s.
