Kudos to city for valve solution

I would like to give a big thank you to Marla and all the city of Everett folks for the backwater valve program they instituted after the torrential rains of 2009. Because of the valve, I had no sewage in my North Everett basement after the recent downpour.

Also, I’d like to praise the entire Public Works Department, whose employees are so responsive and professional. From answering the phones in a timely manner to their competence in the field, they all are a credit to their city! Thank you very much!
