ENGAGEMENT

Dempsey and White

Jessica Dempsey and Roy White, both of Everett, are planning a Sept. 12 wedding at a relative’s home in Kingston.

Jessica is the daughter of Christopher Grow of Lake Stevens, Shannon Dempsey of Kirkland and Dana and Jodi Durand, of Cheyenne, Wyo.

Roy is the son of Roy and Christine White of Everett and Judy and Jeff Bannister of Hazen, N.D.

The groom-to-be is a union electrician with Local 191, and the bride-to-be is a technical trainer with Premera Blue Cross in Mountlake Terrace.

He proposed at a Mukilteo beach.
