Appreciating services too much

I read John Burbank’s starry-eyed Aug. 4 column, “Insuring life, liberty for all is basis of our governance.”

I really hope he has a rational friend who will sit him down and try to convince him that he is infatuated with a big, fat, bloated, freedom-sucking, authoritarian scalawag who has a $13 trillion dollar deficit.

But alas, love is blind.
