Four local students named to deans’ lists

Students achieving academic honors for the fall semester are:

Jefferson Ching Hoi Lee of Everett, at Worcester Polytechnic Institute’ in Massachusetts.

Felicia Figgins of Everett, at Cottey College in Missouri. She is the daughter of Scott and Angela Figgins.

Kyle Hodson of Freeland, at Olivet Nazarene University in Illinois.

Katharine Eloise Walker of Edmonds, at Washington University in St. Louis.

Rotary students of the month named

The Rotary Club of Everett has honored high school seniors Sarah Colombo, Ruby Galen, Stephanie Mock and Andrew Olson as Rotary students of the month for February.

Local students earn degrees in New York

Two local students have graduated from Excelsior College in New York.

Donna L. Casalicchio of Stanwood received an associate degree in nursing.

Ariel Andre Rosemond of Marysville has earned a bachelor of science degree.

Student in one-act play contest

Rhya Milici of Mukilteo participated in the 2011 annual Student One-Act Play Contest, on the Freimann Stage of Whitman College’s Harper Joy Theatre.

L. Stevens girl spends week as Senate page

Izel Thomson of Lake Stevens recently spent a week as a Washington State Senate page, sponsored by Sen. Steve Hobbs, D-Lake Stevens. She is a freshman at Cavelero Mid High School.
