Everett vs. Seattle: lineup notes
Published 6:24 pm Friday, October 21, 2011
EVERETT
Forward lines:
Maxwell-Birkholz-Fowlie
Mychan-Winquist-Erricson
Dolnik-Bauml-Lofthouse
Boyd-Chynoweth-Bell
Defensive pairings:
Yadlowski-Bittner
Walters-Grayson
Morden-Adam
Starting goalie:
Simpson
Scratches: Hand, Hayer, Harrison, McPhee,
Henry, Murray.
Notes: The Tips begin the process of learning how to play without captain and star defenseman Ryan Murray tonight. Murray misses his first full game because of a sprained ankle. Forward Ryan Harrison (lower body), who was a question mark for tonight, also sits. Center Manraj Hayer (broken leg) remains a long-term casualty. Kent Simpson, complete with pink-accented mask for Pink in the Rink, starts in goal after being pulled from his last start.
SEATTLE
Forward lines:
Lund-Lockhart-Sanvido
Gallimore-Noebels-Hickman
Elliot-Alos-Troock
Guiel-Rouse-Doty
Defensive pairings:
Verdino-Sutter
Machacek-Theodore
Deagle-Hauf?
Laroque
Starting goalie:
Pickard
Scratches: Wardley, Jacobs, Frank, Fleming, Hauf?
Notes: Seattle has 21 players taking the warm-up, but only have a question mark next to defenseman Jared Hauf’s name, so I don’t know who the other possible scratch is. Center Colin Jacobs (upper body) and defensemen Evan Wardley (lower body) and Erik Fleming (lower body) are out injured. The Tips get their first look at winger Brandon Troock after the former first-round bantam pick missed all of last season because of injury.
