Killing as solution is unacceptable

The assassination of Moammar Gadhafi is the latest example of the mindset of so many people, here and around the world, i.e., the solution to a “problem,” whether it’s a dictator, convicted murderer, terminally ill, or critically disabled person, unborn child, etc., is through revenge, violence, war, and ultimately, death.

In the meantime, we are diminished as human beings when we deem these “solutions” acceptable.

The reality is, violence begets more of the same. Let’s help break the cycle. Let’s begin with ourselves.
