Edmonds

Jan. 28: Burglary. 19800 block Olympic View Dr. A door to an enclosed private porch was kicked in, but no one entered the residence.

Jan. 28: Burglary. 8400 block 244th St. SW. A man was arrested for second-degree burglary.

Jan. 28: Burglary. 9100 block 188th St. SW. Someone entered a home through an unlocked sliding door and stole items.

Jan. 27: Theft. 200 block Third Ave. N. A woman was arrested for stealing antique silverware from her grandmother to fund the granddaughter’s drug habit.

Jan. 19: Animal. 22700 block 105th Ave. W. Two unrestrained Doberman pinshcer-type dogs aggressively approached a man and his two young children.

Lynnwood/Brier

Jan. 30: Information. 19200 44th Ave. W. A man accidentally drove up over a curb and got stuck in a grassy area. The vehicle had to be towed after it got stuck in the mud.

Jan. 28: Domestic. 19300 bloc 36th Ave. W. Two women argued over one of the women overstaying her welcome.

Jan. 28: Theft. 18300 block 71st Ave. W. A package containing a purse was stolen.

Jan. 28: Harassment. 16400 68th Ave. W. A man was suspected of harassing another man over a late payment for a pair of sunglasses.

Jan. 23: Humane. 22900 block 29th Ave. W. A Brier woman, 72, reported her 89-year-old neighbor’s dogs attacked her rabbits.

Jan. 23: Ordinance violation. 22800 block 34th Ave W. City administration reported a Brier man operating a business from his residence without a city business license in violation of ordinance requirements.

Jan. 23: Ordinance violation. 3200 block 228th St. SW. A Virginia man was soliciting without a city business license. He was advised of ordinance requirements and released.

Mountlake Terrace

Jan. 29: Burglary. 4800 block 217th St. SW. A man confronted two juvenile males after watching them try to break into his neighbor’s house. The juveniles ran away after trying to break into a shed and house.

Jan. 27: Trespassing. 23200 block 56th Ave. W. A man stayed at a business and continued to stare at an uncomfortable female employee despite police officers telling him to leave. Police officers returned to tell the suspicious man to leave.

Jan. 27: Domestic, no assault. 218000 block 54th Ave. W. A mother called the police after her son became agitated from symptoms of his mental illness.

Jan. 27: Domestic disturbance. 21400 block 52nd Ave. W. A woman engaged in a verbal fight with her ex-boyfriend after learning he spent their rent money on a new apartment for himself.

Fire District 1

Jan. 23: Collision. 6600 block of 244th Ave. W. Firefighters transported one patient to Swedish/Edmonds Hospital after responding to a two-car collision in Mountlake Terrace.

Jan. 23: Collision. Southbound I-5 north of 196th Street SW. Firefighters responded to a five-car collision on southbound I-5 north of 196th Street SW. One patient was transported to Swedish/Edmonds Hospital.

Jan. 23: Pedestrian struck by car. 236th Street SW and 52nd Avenue W. A pedestrian was hit by a car in an intersection. Firefighters transported the 18-year-old woman to Harborview Medical Center.

Jan. 21: Collision. 244th Street SW and 56th Avenue W. Firefighters responded to a two-car collision blocking traffic in Mountlake Terrace. Two patients were transported by medics to Swedish/Edmonds Hospital.

Jan. 21: Dryer fire. 4400 block of 240th St. SW. Firefighters extinguished a fire in clothes dryer at a home in Mountlake Terrace. No one was injured and the fire was contained to the dryer.
