Published 6:48 pm Friday, November 1, 2013

EVERETT

Forward lines:

Winquist-Hayer-Sandhu

Leedahl-Bauml-Aasman

Low-Nikolishin-Stadnyk

MacDonald-Fonteyne-Bajkov

Defensive pairings:

Pufahl-Juulsen

Betker-Davis

Mueller-Adam

Starting goaltender:

Cotton

Scratches: Zipp, Khaira, Lotz.

Notes: Everett plays without No. 1 goaltender Austin Lotz, who’s out with an ankle injury. Therefore, Daniel Cotton gets his first start since Oct. 12, and call-up Nik Amundrud spends his first game as the back-up. Center Jujhar Khaira (upper body) remains out injured, meaning defenseman Cole MacDonald continues to play as a winger. Tonight’s game begins a busy stretch of 13 games in 23 days for the Tips.

BRANDON

Forward lines:

Bukarts-Robinson-Nejezchleb

Palmer-Quenneville-Hawryluk

Gabrielle/Shmyr-Lindgren-Cooper

Kitt-Lisoway-Coulter

Defensive pairings:

Wlters-Pulock

Roy-Meilleur

Green-Waltz

Starting goaltender:

Papirny

Scratches: Hunter, Pankewicz, McGauley, Honey, Gabrielle/Shmyr.

Notes: Brandon is also without its No. 1 goalie as Curtis Honey is out injured. Therefore, Mill Creek resident Jason Hadaller serves as the emergency back-up to Jordan Papirny tonight. The Wheat Kings are also without overage defenseman Rene Hunter for undisclosed reasons, while center Tim McGauley is out with an upper-body injury. Both of wingers Jesse Gabrielle and Braylon Shmyr will take the warm-up, but just one will play. This is Brandon’s final game in its five-game swing through the U.S. Division, and the Wheat Kings are hoping to salvage something from the trip tonight as so far they’re 0-4.
