2 die in motorcycle crash near Wapato

WAPATO — Two people on a motorcycle were killed in a collision Thursday night near Wapato.

The Washington State Patrol says the motorcycle collided with a pickup truck at an intersection on Highway 97.

KNDO-TV reported that the patrol identified the dead as Omar Delgado, 17, of Union Gap, and Yaritza Lopez, 21, of Yakima.

The pickup driver was not injured.
