BELLINGHAM — The Bellingham City Council voted Monday night to condemn the Aloha Motel.
The Bellingham Herald reported it has a reputation for criminal activity, and the Whatcom County Health Department found methamphetamine contamination in 11 rooms.
A lawyer for the owners, Greg Greenan, said they would accept the condemnation proceedings if the city pays a fair price for the property.
