Darrington football players named all-league

Darrington High School football players Mason McKenzie and Trent Green were named Tuesday to the All-Northwest 2B League first team.

McKenzie was chosen as both an offensive lineman and as a linebacker. Green was a first-team pick at defensive back, and also was one of three seniors nominated for the all-state game.

Named to the second team were Darrington receiver Austin Edwards and running back Lane Monteith.
