Black Diamond Police investigate death of 6-year-old girl

BLACK DIAMOND — The Black Diamond Police Department is investigating the death of a 6-year-old girl.

KING-TV reported that firefighters were called to a Roberts Drive home on Saturday but were unable to revive the girl who was found in her bedroom.

Police are interviewing family members as the investigation continues. A second child in the home was not involved in the incident.

Police say positive identification of the patient and cause of death will be provided by the King County Medical Examiner’s Office but could take several weeks.
