Bremerton woman dies in Idaho crash

FAIRFIELD, Idaho — A Bremerton woman is dead after rolling her car over in south-central Idaho.

Idaho State Police investigators say it happened Saturday night on U.S. 20 east of the tiny city of Fairfield in Camas County. Carina Garcia, 21, lost control of her Chevrolet Cavalier and went off the roadway. She was ejected and killed even though she had been wearing her seatbelt.

Her passenger, Zachary Harmon, 23, of Port Orchard, also was wearing his seatbelt and was injured. He was taken to a hospital in Boise.
