WALLA WALLA — Four men have been charged with murder in a gang-related shooting that left one man dead and wounded another outside a tavern in Walla Walla.

Emanuel A. Pantaleon, brothers Birzavit Carmona-Hernandez and Antonio Carmona-Hernandez and Roberto R. Arroyo were charged Monday in Superior Court with murder, assault and intimidating a witness.

The Walla Walla Union-Bulletin reported the men are local gang members with bail set at $500,000 apiece.

Officials haven’t said who fired the shots that killed Juan Pedro Martinez and wounded Andrew Solis Saturday night.

Police say Solis had cut ties with the gang after testifying at a murder trial of a fellow member and could have been seen by them as betraying its code of silence.

Martinez reportedly had no gang affiliation.
