Regift those gift cards to yourself

Ah, gift cards.

They make the perfect present.

Unless you get one for a place that has nothing you want. It’s not like getting a zebra-striped bathrobe that you can take back to a store and exchange for something you’d actually wear.

But you’re not stuck with those cards. You can exchange gift cards for cash at Coinstar Exchange machines, those bright yellow kiosks at supermarkets. You get an offer on the spot and cash right in the store.
