Schwab’s columns are political bigotry

As I watch the letters fly back and forth, I notice that most, in my humble opinion, seem to be missing the real point. How many times have you as a parent told your teens, “It’s not what you say, it’s how you say it.” Teens are given to bombastic and sometimes crude utterances. Well, good old Sid Schwab must be a teen, at least in his extremely narrow mind.

I have read Sid’s column in the past and actually agreed with him on more than one occasion. No more. It’s not that I disagree with his point, I can’t stand some of the outrageous superlatives he is so in love with.

Sid is a political bigot, plain and simple. There is all sorts of bigotry, and political bigotry is one of them. But remember Sid is a columnist not a journalist. Sid shades and ignores the truth to one degree or another, depending upon the point he is advancing. Many columnists do the same, it is expected. Dishonest, but expected. Sid has made an art out of it. So, no I don’t read him, which is what we all have the freedom to do.

I am a moderate Republican, and I did not vote for Trump either, Sid, and will not next time. Just so you know where I am coming from.
