Sheriff Fortney’s problem was stating the implied policy

I have long known that right and wrong are views that can be subject to a persons’ political viewpoint. Case in point: Sheriff Adam Fortney. I note that some have called for his recall. Really?

All he did was put into public view, a policy that almost every jurisdiction in the state has adopted. Has anyone here been arrested and or prosecuted for being out and about? There seem to be more exceptions to each and every “rule” published.

So apparently if you do one thing and say another, the recall and outraged citizens are OK. Say it out loud and you are unfit for office. Yet, prosecutors and county executives and mayors and our governor ignore the law, especially federal law, and there is no problem. There is a word for that: hypocrisy.
