This week’s featured new construction is a two-story, freestanding townhome-style condominium unit in the Gibson Cove II development in south Everett. It has four bedrooms, 2.5 bathrooms and a 2,095 square-feet floor plan.
Oak flooring with a cherry finish covers the home’s entry and extends throughout much of the main floor.
The main floor includes a formal dining room, expansive family room, powder room, kitchen and completely finished two-car garage. The garage contains the home’s natural-gas furnace and hot water tank.
Dining room highlights include hardwood flooring, chair railing millwork and an alcove that could site a buffet or china cabinet.
The family room is an extra-large area that includes an in-wall gas fireplace with ceramic tile border framed by a hemlock surround and mantel. An entertainment niche is centered above and wired for a wide-screen, high-definition television. A sliding-glass door opens to a backyard patio and fenced yard.
The center-island kitchen is completed with Shaker-style alder cabinets, ceramic countertops and backsplash with glass tile accents, hardwood flooring, black and stainless steel appliances, and a walk-in pantry with ventilated wire storage shelves.
Completing the main living floor is a small powder room with pedestal sink and vinyl flooring.
The upper level consists of a bedroom suite, three bedrooms, a full bathroom and a laundry room.
The suite has a high vaulted ceiling and two square-shaped privacy windows that complement an oversized window with wood sill. The suite’s five-piece bathroom has a skylight, double vanity topped with ceramic tile, large soaker tub with tile surround and privacy glass window, freestanding shower with faux white tile fiberglass shell, and a walk-in wardrobe closet.
Two of the remaining three bedrooms have walk-in closets, and all three bedrooms include phone/cable jacks and frosted/fluted light fixtures.
The second full bathroom has a skylight, linen closet, double vanity with laminate top, complementary vinyl flooring, and a shower/tub combination with faux white tile fiberglass shell.
Completing the floor plan is the laundry room, which has a folding table topped with laminate, a wire storage shelf, vinyl flooring and a moonglobe light fixture.
