This week’s featured home is a three-bedroom, three-bathroom tri-level near Lake Stickney, between Everett and Lynnwood. It was built in 1975 and is on a nearly half-acre lot with arboretum-style landscaping.

Ownership includes partial interest in a lakeside lot with beach access, and use of a community grange hall.

A solid fir door at the front entry opens to a foyer with 12-inch tile flooring and cathedral ceiling with skylight.

To the right is a large French door that accesses a sunken formal living room. The room has pale neutral plush carpeting, a vaulted cathedral ceiling, and a bay window overlooking the front yard.

A formal dining area is adjacent to the living room and has oak flooring. Another French door here opens to a covered patio and ground-level backyard deck with a spa. The back yard is fenced and includes a water feature and greenhouse.

The kitchen and an adjacent informal dining area are at the back of the house. Kitchen highlights include natural wood cabinets, laminate countertops, recessed lighting, vinyl flooring, and a work station.

An extra-long bay window in the informal dining area overlooks the back yard, and a glass door accesses the deck.

A spacious family room is positioned off the kitchen area and has wood-tone laminate flooring, a sliding-glass door accessing the deck, a vaulted cathedral ceiling, and a brick fireplace with woodburning insert.

The entry level is completed by a half bathroom near the foyer. It has wood-tone laminate flooring and a single vanity.

Five steps up from the entry level, a hall with Berber carpeting leads to an owners’ suite, two bedrooms and a full bathroom.

Features of the suite include three vertical windows facing the back yard, a double closet and a standard closet — both with bifold doors — and a bathroom with extra-long double vanity and oversized shower with fiberglass surround.

The two bedrooms face the front yard and have vinyl-type flooring. One includes a sitting area and double closet; the other has two double closets.

Features of the full bathroom include vinyl flooring, an elongated double vanity, and a shower-tub combination with fiberglass surround.

An eight-step staircase descends from the family room to a large rec room with wet bar, antique-style woodstove, and doors accessing the back yard and an attached two-car garage.

A den, laundry room and three-quarter bathroom complete this lower level.
