A century-old home in north Everett is this week’s featured resale of the week. Built in 1910, the original portion of the house was structured after a traditional four square design, with an upper level and a two-car detached garage added in 1995.

The home has 2,234 square feet of living space on a 5,227 square feet lot. It has four bedrooms and 1.75 bathrooms.

A covered wraparound front porch overlooks a professionally landscaped yard. The front entry door holds a vintage twist doorbell.

Inside, a paned glass door opens from the foyer to the living room, which is fitted with fir flooring, white millwork and a picture window.

The living room extends through a squared archway to a carpeted sitting parlor. The parlor includes a ceiling fan and a side entrance to the porch.

Fir flooring, wainscoting and white millwork are highlights of the dining room.

The kitchen has newer wood flooring and maple cabinetry. An island includes a stainless steel double sink and an eating counter. The appliance package includes a glass cooktop range.

The adjoining family room has tall windows and taupe walls. Nearby, an exterior door leading to the back yard is flanked by two upholstered benches.

A utility room houses a furnace and the laundry area, which has cabinetry, a utility sink and a pull-down ironing board.

A bathroom downstairs includes vinyl flooring, a double vanity, laminate countertops, a shower and a window.

A carpeted stairway leads up to a loft area that currently serves as a home office. Three secondary bedrooms are carpeted and have step-up closets.

Features of the bedroom suite include neutral carpeting, a reach-in and a walk-in closet, a skylight and terra cotta walls.

Pocket doors from the suite and the hallway open to a continental bathroom, which has tile flooring, a double vanity, skylight and newer light fixtures. Its shower/tub combination is tiled in grey and white.

Outside, the garage is fully finished and heated. It includes wall storage, an extended workbench, epoxy-covered floors and a half bathroom.

The fenced back yard has a wooden deck and concrete patio. A corner conversation area, waterfall, fire pit and window boxes are additional features. The space includes lighting and a sound system.

The home has a security system and gas forced air heat.
