This week’s featured new home is a three-story home that affords unobstructed views of Puget Sound.
Port Susan and Camano Island are seen through most of the windows in this home, which is at Warm Beach near Stanwood.
Beach access is within a short walk, with a public boat launch minutes away at Kayak Point County Park.
The home rests on a half-acre lot and has a native growth protection area bordering to the rear, a private drive and a courtyard. It stretches over 5,000 square feet (4,142 finished) and includes four bedrooms, 3.5 bathrooms, a basement and a two-car garage.
Built by KMA Construction, the home is loaded with custom amenities, detailed finish work and quality materials.
The basement level is comprised of two bedrooms, a full bath, a massive family room, a room wired and plumbed for a kitchen, an unfinished wine room, a media room and a utility room.
Entrance is gained from the rear through a leaded glass door that opens to a foyer decked with red oak flooring. A formal living room has a 30-foot ceiling and two levels of windows that stretch from floor-to-ceiling and frame the saltwater view.
The main floor has a formal dining area, a kitchen, a master suite, a home office, a full bath and an oversized utility room with built-in oak cabinets, a laundry tub and a storage shelf. There’s also a home office that has a distracting water view.
In addition to the soaring ceiling and wall of windows, the living room has a wood stove with a tile hearth and a partial wall with a wood mantel. A storefront door opens to a cedar deck.
The kitchen has counters and an island decked with granite tile, a four-burner gas cooktop, an overhead hood with oak trim and an extended, four-person breakfast bar.
Other kitchen amenities include oak-paneled cabinets with crown molding, a tiered garden window, a walk-in pantry and stainless steel appliances.
The dining room has oak flooring and also overlooks the water.
The master suite has an oversized sleeping area with a vaulted ceiling and French doors opening to a cedar-decked balcony. There’s a wardrobe closet on either side of a short corridor leading to the master bath.
The spacious bathroom features an architectural block glass window, a jetted corner soaker tub, a freestanding shower with a tile surround and clear glass enclosure, and a double vanity with a tile top and backsplash with cut rock accents.
The third level, which has a sky bridge that overlooks the foyer and the main floor, provides unsurpassed views. In addition to a sprawling room that could be utilized any number of ways, there’s also a second master suite.
