This week’s featured resale home is a five-bedroom, four-bath, multi-level Craftsman contemporary in the Rucker Hill neighborhood near downtown Everett. It was built in 2000 and has far-reaching views of the city, Snohomish Valley and the Cascade Mountains.

The home’s interior makes use of numerous partial walls and high windows to maximize light.

The front door opens to a foyer with tile flooring. A sunken living room is to the left, and a long hallway with tile flooring is to the right.

Among the features of the living room are Berber carpeting, vaulted cathedral ceiling, and windows on three sides — including three picture windows for optimum view exposure.

The long hallway accesses a half bathroom and a home office. Features of the home office include pale neutral plush carpeting, built-in drawers and desktops, and windows facing the front and side yard.

A kitchen and dining area are in an open floor plan at the back of the house. The dining area has cherry-stained hardwood flooring, a cathedral ceiling, and a French door accessing a multi-level wraparound view deck.

Kitchen highlights include tile flooring, light oak cabinets, granite slab countertops, stainless steel appliances, recessed lighting, a pantry, work station, breakfast bar, and large view window above the sink.

There is a split staircase a few steps away from the kitchen. It goes up six steps to a spacious bedroom suite, and eight steps down to a media room.

Highlights of the suite’s bedroom include several large view windows, a fireplace with tile hearth and surround, and a French door accessing a view balcony. A television alcove is positioned above the fireplace.

Features of the suite’s five-piece bathroom include an oval jetted tub encased in tile, an extra-long double vanity topped with tile, and a shower with fiberglass shell.

A walk-in closet and a double closet with bifold doors complete the package.

The media room includes space for a second home office, with built-in drawers and desktops.

Nearby is a mudroom with access from the front yard as well as the home’s attached two-car garage.

The remaining bedrooms are located at the opposite end of the house and have large view windows, pale neutral plush carpeting, and double closets with bifold doors.

One of the bedrooms is a smaller suite with its own three-quarter bathroom.

The home has a gas forced-air heating system and a security system.
