Large picture windows overlooking Flowing Lake provide views of nature from this week’s home of the week.

Built in 1993, the three-story Craftsman has 4,400 square feet of living space and a detached two-car garage.

The four-bedroom, 3.5-bathroom home includes knotty pine floors, trim and accents throughout, and is also distinguished by custom metal lighting in many of its rooms.

A long driveway leading to the home is accented by Craftsman-style light posts. The property has a large parking area, a woodshed, play house, wooden swing set, and dock access to the lake.

Large double doors open to the foyer, which has a cathedral ceiling, knotty pine wide planked flooring, and a French doors overlooking the lake.

A great-room is finished with a floor-to-ceiling fireplace built from river rock. The room open to a game area with Berber carpeting and a mini-bar, also made from river rock.

An office, one bedroom and a bathroom complete the entry level.

A pine stairwell ascends to the second and third levels. On the second level, a family room is carpeted and has a built-in entertainment center. The adjoining kitchen is highlighted by tile flooring, a breakfast bar with river rock base, and stainless steel appliances.

An informal dining area is positioned off the kitchen, and a formal dining room extends from the kitchen as well. It includes a tray ceiling, built-in buffet, and millwork.

A powder room and a laundry room are located next to the casual dining area. The second floor also includes an office completed with carpeting, knotty pine walls, a French door, custom wall sconces and a mantel placed on the backside of the great-room’s fireplace.

The third level consists of a bedroom suite, two secondary bedrooms and a bathroom. Highlights of the suite include a French door to a patio, a walk-in closet, and a bathroom fitted with a jetted tub, glass-encased shower, two-sink vanity and separate toilet area.

Knotty pine accent walls are featured in the two secondary bedrooms, and the bathroom includes a single vanity, a shower-tub combination and a linen closet.

The home has propane forced-air heat, is wired for a generator and has a sound system.
