This week’s featured new construction is a four-bedroom, 2.75-bath two-story in the Copper Grove development in Lynnwood.

The “Acacia” model features a downstairs fourth bedroom or home office. The main living floor is completed with a formal dining room, kitchen, informal dining nook, family room, three-quarter bathroom and two-car garage.

A switchback staircase ascends to the upper level, which consists of a bedroom suite, two additional bedrooms, a full bathroom and a laundry room.

Distressed birch hand-scraped flooring covers the foyer and extends into the kitchen and nook. A French door opens to the fourth bedroom or home office on the immediate right. The room includes paneled sliding doors enclosing the closet, and a large window with wood still.

On the opposite side of the foyer is the home’s formal dining room. Accessed via a wide, arched opening, the space features a coffered ceiling with crown molding.

The center-island kitchen has granite tile countertops, wood paneled cabinets with crown molding, ceramic tile backsplashes, and black-on-black appliances.

The nook includes a sliding glass door that opens to an exposed aggregate backyard patio.

An oversized family room is steps away and has a corner gas fireplace with granite tile border and wood mantel.

Features of the three-quarter bathroom include a single vanity with ceramic tile top and backsplash, tile flooring and a shower with ceramic tile.

A French door opens to the upstairs bedroom suite, whose oversized sleeping area benefits from a soaring vaulted ceiling.

The suite’s five-piece bathroom has a skylight, a double vanity topped with tile, 18-inch ceramic tile flooring, a soaker tub with tile surround, and a freestanding shower with tile surround and glass enclosure.

A large walk-in wardrobe closet with ventilated wire storage shelves completes the bedroom suite.

The second full bathroom upstairs includes a double vanity with laminate top, vinyl flooring and a shower/tub combination with faux white tile fiberglass shell.

Laundry room features include vinyl flooring and a wire storage shelf.
