Located in the middle of the Snohomish historic business district, this week’s featured new home is a three-bedroom, two-bath condominium located inside Patrick Plaza.

The building includes three retail tenants at street level, with condominiums comprising the second and third levels. Ownership includes two stalls inside a secured, covered parking garage with elevator and stair access, and a common roof terrace that delivers 360-degree views of Mount Rainier, the Cascade and Olympic mountains, cityscapes and the river.

The one-level unit has 1,582 square feet of living space, and a covered balcony patio – accessed from either the great-room or bedroom suite. The 16 feet by 8 feet balcony is completed with a handcrafted picket railing.

Special features inside the unit include hand-scraped four-inch maple planking, custom maple cabinets, granite slab countertops, ceramic tile backsplashes and flooring, crown molding, nine-foot ceilings, and a see-through gas fireplace trimmed with a granite slab hearth and formal wood mantel on one side.

Two additional bedrooms are placed on opposite sides of the entry. Both include six-panel sliders enclosing standard closets, wood-wrapped windows, and frieze carpeting. Linen and guest closets are also positioned on opposite sides of the extra-wide, five-foot hall.

Straight ahead of the entry are a center-island kitchen and sprawling great-room combining formal living and dining areas.

Kitchen appointments include an arched breakfast bar, maple paneled cabinets with crown molding, a ceramic tile backsplash with mosaic tile accents highlighted with under-cabinet lighting, and a stainless steel appliance package that includes a five-burner gas range.

The great-room provides a functional, versatile living space with the see-through fireplace and storefront door opening to the balcony serving as focal points.

A bedroom suite shares the fireplace, and this side is trimmed with a ceramic tile hearth and border.

A short hall leads to the suite’s bathroom, with a walk-in wardrobe closet on the right and six-panel sliders on the left enclosing a clothes closet. Features of the bathroom include a single vanity topped with slab granite and mosaic tile backsplash, tile flooring, and walk-in shower with tile surround.

Completing the home is a laundry room large enough to accommodate a full-size washer and dryer. The room has vinyl flooring, recessed lighting and a full-length, ventilated wire storage shelf.
