This week’s featured new home is a two-story design that measures 3,180 square feet. The home is located at the end of a cul-de-sac, in the Viewmont Estates subdivision near Bryant.

Built by Accolade Homes, the home sits on a one-acre lot that’s adjacent to native growth protection areas.

In addition to having four bedrooms, 2.5 bathrooms and a three-car garage, the home also includes a septic system, a private well and a propane furnace with wiring for a heat pump.

A grand foyer that is open to the second level creates a memorable first impression.

Exotic tiger wood covers the floor and extends throughout much of the main floor. The formal dining room that’s open to the foyer and hallway features four circular pillars, hardwood flooring and an oversized, wood-wrapped window.

In the powder room are a pedestal sink, a vertical window and wood flooring. A linen closet is in the nearby hall, as well as sculpted glass French doors that enclose a large home office.

A butler’s pantry buffers the dining room and kitchen. Highlights include a granite slab countertop, cherry-paneled overhead cabinets, a built-in wine rack and wiring for a wine cooler. Nearby is a walk-in pantry.

Features of the kitchen include cherry-paneled cabinets, a large island with a salad sink and granite slab surface, a slate tile backsplash and a stainless steel microwave, wall oven and five-burner gas cooktop.

An informal eating area includes sliding glass doors that access the back yard.

Nearby is a sprawling family room with a gas fireplace that is trimmed with a slate tile border and wood surround.

The main floor is completed with the 580-square-foot garage enclosed by three separate doors that have privacy glass and electric openers. The garage is extra-deep, making it workshop friendly. Several large walk-in storage closets add to the home’s functionality.

At the halfway point of a switchback staircase ascending to the home’s sleeping quarters is an expansive and private bonus room.

On the upper level, a long corridor features a cathedral-style ceiling and five separate skylights. Wrought iron balusters create the appearance of a sky-bridge overlooking the foyer below. All four bedrooms, the second full bath and a utility room are accessed via the hallway.

The master suite features a generously proportioned sleeping area with a vaulted ceiling and wood wrapped window. The room is augmented by an elegant, five-piece master bath with ceramic-tile flooring, a double vanity topped with tile, a freestanding shower with a tile surround and mosaic tile accents, a soaker tub located below two windows, a separate toilet area and a walk-in wardrobe closet.

Also upstairs are the remaining three bedrooms and full bath, and a utility room with a laundry tub, cherry cabinets and a folding table.
