22815 60th Drive NW, Stanwood

A two-story farm style home in the Silvana countryside is this week’s featured home of the week. It is located within the gated Silvana Crest community.

Built in 1993, the 2,030 square foot home has two bedrooms and 1.75 bathrooms. The five level acres includes a fenced pasture, pond, fire pit, RV parking and access to the river. The detached two-car garage is combined with a four-stall barn with ground level hay storage and a shop.

A long driveway leads to the home. The yard is landscaped with a variety of trees and perennial beds. Garden sheds and an aviary provide functional accents to the yard.

A covered front porch adorns the front of the home. It has cedar floorboards and white accents.

Inside the foyer, the kitchen is bright and airy. It includes ash flooring, custom shaker cabinetry with stained glass inserts, laminate countertops and white appliances. Its large island has a cooktop and decorative storage.

The adjoining dining room has ash flooring, a pellet stove and paned windows overlooking the front and side yards.

A bathroom with tile flooring, wainscoting, a pedestal sink and a shower is located nearby.

The laundry room, also located by the kitchen, houses the refrigerator and has parquet flooring and a stacked washing machine and dryer.

Left of the foyer, the bedroom suite has Berber carpeting, paned windows and two large closets. Its bathroom has a pedestal tub, pedestal sink and decorative shelving.

A short staircase from the kitchen leads down to a parlor with highlights of a pellet stove, laminate wood flooring and white millwork. French doors lead to the yard and a second door opens to the back patio area. The space also includes a coat closet.

A large mudroom is positioned next to the parlor. It includes a storage area and French doors leading to the driveway and detached garage.

Carpeted stairs with a white banister lead up to the family room. Features include a cathedral ceiling, Berber carpeting, a group of windows and soft blue walls with a subtle graphic design.

The room extends to a loft area used as a bedroom.

An unfinished basement, accessed from the outside, is ideal for storage. Additional storage is located under the front porch.

The home has electric heat. Pellet stoves are used as the primary source for heat. The home has its own well and septic.
