If you’ve been dreaming of a new kitchen, there’s only one place you need to be this weekend.
The Evergreen Spring Home Show arrives at the Evergreen State Fairgrounds Event Center in Monroe, WA, April 22 to 24, and the must-visit booth for kitchen and bath renovations is definitely Mukilteo’s Granite Transformations, serving Snohomish, King and Skagit counties.
“When somebody goes to the home show, especially when they’re just starting to think about a project, they can explore a wide range of options all in one place,” explains April Peterson, Granite Transformations marketing manager.
“It’s an easy way to see a lot of different materials and styles before you have someone out to your home, and ask the questions to narrow down your options, including our environmentally friendly engineered stone countertops and backsplashes – the cornerstone of our renovations,” she says. “You can see it, touch it and play with color to see what you like.”
What kinds of information should you bring with you as you browse the home show booths? Peterson offers a few suggestions:
- Scope – It helps to have a general idea of the scope of the project – are you looking at a simple refresh of counters, cupboards and backsplash or a full renovation of the home’s footprint, for example?
- Timelines – Do you have an end goal in mind already so you’re ready to book your design consultation, or are you gathering ideas for a project down the road?
- Budget – Do you have a sense of your budget? Regardless of the scope of the project, often people’s budgets do not fully reflect the true costs. Because Granite Transformations projects are fully customized to client’s goals and spaces, they don’t provide a basic “price per square foot” cost, however once the design and plans are completed, clients receive a complete all-in price, Peterson notes.
